Why We Love the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Hey tech squad, are you ready to hear about the next Google Pixel release, the 7 and 7 Pro? We’re ready to deliver the inside scoop just in time for the anticipated release! With the number of Americans increasingly connected to the world of digital information through smartphones, there’s a great reason to make sure you’re up to date with the latest in phone technology.
From updated photo lens capabilities, battery life length and seamless connectivity, there’s almost too much to unwrap in Google’s latest Pixels. Check out a few of our favorite attributes below and see why we’re loving it and think you might, too!
Easier Device Connectivity
It’s now easier than ever to keep track of connected devices that can be lost in the car or dropped in the couch crevice. Quickly ping your phone from your watch, or even ping your watch or earbuds from your phone. The latest Find My Device feature helps you locate your misplaced Pixel phone, earbuds, or watch on a visualized map. Also, it’s much easier to automatically switch audio between watches, phones and laptops (a hassle in other smartphone models) with Fast Pair connectivity.
Bolder Photo Capabilities
The Pixel 7 and7 Pro continues to use the 50-megapixel main camera introduced in the Pixel 6 series, except this time the phone offers a 2x mode that crops in by using the 12 megapixels at the center of the sensor. The Pixel 7 Pro’s telephoto camera also got a boost to 5x, and the ultrawide camera is even wider with a 125-degree field of view. Now that’s a lot of photo-packed power! Capturing memories in the highest quality mode available while not taking up a ton of storage on your device is where the Google Pixel really wins. Can you tell we’re excited about it?
Improved Battery Function
The battery life in the new Pixel 7 and 7 Pro promises “24-hour plus” battery life for those who were hoping battery capability would improve from the phone’s 6 series. Also, Google has pushed its Extreme Battery Saver mode claim from 48 hours to 72 hours. Charging speeds will remain close to the same with 30W wired charging and wireless charging available, but we are optimistic this is a step in the right direction, and it shows Google’s commitment to developing the most advanced smartphone battery.
Better Features for a Good Price Point
Perhaps one of Google’s best selling points is that prices are unchanged from last year’s 6 models. The $599 Pixel 7 and $899 Pixel 7 Pro improve on existing software features, yet also introduce several new ones into the mix. The fact that Google has made this number of upgrades while keeping their price the same shows a continued commitment to user experience, and we’d certainly like to retweet that effort!
When the Pixel 7 and 7Pro officially hits shelves, head over to your local Verizon Victra store to pick yours up for an affordable price before they’re all snagged. Android smartphone usership is on the rise and expected to grow further, which means that more heads are turning to devices like the Pixels. With streamlined device connectivity, be a part of the future of smartphones with the latest Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
