Step 1: Download the My Verizon app.
Get the app for step-by-step setup instructions, easy access to our support team, and more.

Step 2: Plug in your Verizon Internet Gateway.
After plugging it in, the Gateway should take about 5 minutes to connect to the Verizon network. Once you’re on our network, you’ll use My Verizon app to connect your devices and personalize your settings.

Getting Ready For Your 5G Home Internet
Its blinking white light means it’s starting up. The light may then fluctuate between red and white for up to 5 minutes. Don’t unplug. If it settles on white you’re all set. If the light blinks white again, it’s updating software. Don’t unplug and wait for about 3 minutes. If it settles on solid red don’t worry. My Verizon app will help you find a 5G signal. The 5G compass will guide you towards a 5G antenna to test for a signal. Once the light turns white, the Gateway set up is complete.
