Choose your depth of field the way you would on a mirrorless body. The 48MP Fusion Main opens to ƒ/1.48 for low light and closes to ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 or ƒ/4.0 when you want a whole scene sharp. Beside it sit a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and a 48MP Fusion Telephoto reaching up to 8x optical-quality zoom, so the three lenses cover a full working range. The front camera steps up to 18MP with Center Stage.
Sustained speed is the point here, not a benchmark spike. The A20 Pro pairs a Dual 16-core Neural Engine with a next-generation vapor chamber that keeps the phone working through a long export or a long game. Apple rates graphics as up to 40 percent faster than iPhone 17 Pro. Camera Control sits under your thumb for exposure and framing, and the Action button stays customisable for whatever you reach for most.
Apple rates iPhone 18 Pro Max at up to 45 hours of video playback and up to 30 hours of typical use — up to six hours more video than iPhone 17 Pro Max. Charging keeps pace: about 50 percent in around 15 minutes with a compatible 60W adapter. It is the difference between planning your day around an outlet and simply not thinking about it.
The iPhone 18 Pro is built as an aluminum unibody with Ceramic Shield on the front and the back. Ceramic Shield 2 gives the front three times better scratch resistance than iPhone 16 Pro by Apple’s measure. The Dynamic Island has been redesigned, and the four finishes — Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black — look different enough in person that it is worth seeing them side by side.
