  When can I buy it?

  You may add device coverage within 30 days of purchasing a new device or if you are activating your own device as long as it's in good working condition.

  How can I purchase?

  You may contact your representative who you purchased your device and they can add Verizon Mobile Device Protect to your account or you can call 1-800-279-3550 and we will get you protected.

  How can I make a repair claim?

  To file a claim, you must be the Verizon authorized account owner or account manager. This requires your Verizon account PIN. You must also pay your deductible (when applicable) at the time of a claim. For more information on the deductible amounts by device please visit here.
  
  For lost, stolen or damaged devices, you can file a claim on insurance partner Asurion’s website or by calling 1-888-881-2622 (M-F, 9 to 9 EST) . For devices with a manufacturer’s defect, you can call Verizon at 1-866-406-5154.
  
  When filing a claim, you may be asked to provide your device ID as well as the make and model of your device.
  
  (Florida residents should work through Asurion for all claims, including those related to defects.)
