The Affordable Connectivity Program stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7th 2024. Barring additional funding from Congress, April is expected to be the last month enrolled households will receive the full benefit. Transferring your ACP Benefit to Verizon

When you transfer your ACP benefit to qualifying Verizon Home Internet services, you’ll automatically qualify for Verizon Forward. If ACP ends, you will no longer receive the ACP monthly discount of up to $30/month but will continue to receive the Verizon Forward discount.

Starting on 02.08.24, Verizon Home Internet customers on select plans may be eligible for our Verizon Forward discount of up to $20/month. Click Get Started to see if you are eligible.

FAQ – Affordable connectivity program

The Verizon Forward program is a part of Verizon’s participation in the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which aims to help low-income households pay for internet and mobile services. It provides reduced-cost internet to eligible new or existing customers, offering a service discount of up to $20 per month on their Fios, 5G Home, or LTE Home Internet plan price

To qualify for the program, customers must meet certain eligibility criteria, such as being enrolled in the ACP or other federal assistance programs or having received a Federal Pell Grant or SNAP benefits. The program is designed to bridge the digital divide by making internet access more affordable and accessible to low-income households.

The program stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024, due to a lack of additional funding from Congress. The funding for the program is expected to last through April 2024. Eligibility is based on household income or enrollment in government programs like Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, or others.
