Customer Eligibility	Must be a currently-employed nurse (LPN, LVN, NP or RN) or a currently-employed respiratory therapist with a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.  Must be the Verizon Account Owner or Account Manager. The discount applies to the entire Verizon account and a spouse can receive it if on the Verizon Account Owner or Account Manager’s plan.  Retired nurses are not eligible.

Visit the “Verizon Plan Discounts for Nurses” page and click “Get Your Discount” followed by “Get Started”.  You will be taken to the www.ID.me with Verizon page and create an account with ID.me or sign in to your account. 2 ways to verify employment with ID.me: (1) With your healthcare credentials: Nurses can input their professional information to instantly verify their group status. (2) Upload employment documentation: A valid Nursing License or current ID Card. Or an employment letter stating your position as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthetist, Nursing Assistant, or other certified nursing role. The name on the document that you upload must match the name you enter during the verification process or ID.me will request change of name documentation.	Once verified, you will be automatically sent to the “Discounts by Verizon Wireless page”. Choose: “Existing Customers” or “Not yet a Verizon Wireless customer” Follow the prompts to activate or shop for your discount.	Visit the “Verizon Check My Submission Status” page After registering for the discount, you may check the status of the application of the discount on “Verizon’s Check My Validation Status page. It can take up to 2-3 billing cycles for the discount updates to appear on your account. You can see your discount by logging into “My Account” on Verizon.com and viewing your last bill (Main Menu–>Account–>Bill–>Bill Overview–>View Details) or by opening the My Verizon app (Main Menu–>Account –>View or Pay Your Bill or Main Menu–>More–>Bill–>View details).
